FAQ's

The direct to garment (DTG) printer functions similarly to the inkjet model in your workplace, although it is a more advanced model.

In essence, the procedure is pretty self-explanatory: the ink is injected right into the substance. The sole distinction is that it operates on cloth rather than paper.

We only utilise Kornit DTG equipment. Six Kornit Avalanche HD6 printers are presently installed at our Winsford facility. These devices use the CMYKRG+White seven-color scheme.

Yes! We advise all customers to wash their garments at 30 degrees and do not iron directly onto the print. If you follow these basic instructions then your prints will last a long time! Unlike Screen printing, our water based prints are also much more resistant to cracking and peeling.

Ideally we would require a PNG file with a transparent background. The print file should be scaled to the correct print size and should be at least 150dpi. You should try to ensure that all of the edges of your files are sharp or this could result in a poor finish.

Unfortunately, unless one of our designers reworks the artwork, our DTG machines are unable to accurately print artwork that involves transparencies. Please contact us before making an order if any design elements in your artwork fade or are semi-transparent. We cannot guarantee the quality of the final print if you use our online designer to place an order with artwork that involves transparencies.

Please be aware that your clothes may smell somewhat when you first receive them because DTG employs a fixing chemical during the printing process that has a tiny vinegar odour. The first wash rapidly gets rid of this fragrance.

You don’t need to be concerned about your printed apparel fading or peeling when you use DFT Express. You may treat your personalised T-shirts the same as any other item in your wardrobe because we use the most recent printing technology to guarantee the longevity of your designs.
